Life Stories

This webpage contains stories of people within the All Souls community. Here, you will find people just like you. These are people who have been in need of God's saving love. They have sought, and found, refuge, peace, and purpose in God.

If you are in a tough spot, know that there is hope. There are many at All Souls that are living examples of God's patience, acceptance, and love.

About This Page

We are extremely excited about this web page!

This is our opportunity to tell others about how God has impacted our lives. The great thing about All Souls Church is the diversity of backgrounds that come together under one roof.

There are those whose lives have literally been saved by God through a life transforming event. There are others whom have known the loving touch of Jesus their entire lives. There are still others who wonder if God is really out there.

All people are accepted and respected. None are turned away.

The All Souls Life Story

All Souls Episcopal is a relatively new church community in the Atlee part of Mechanicsville. We have been meeting in a school cafeteria for our entire lifetime.

The diocese, the organization that helped us to form, has purchased land fairly recently. We hope to be able to start building soon and have a target completion date of 2012. This seems far away but will come sooner than we think.

Our Mission: Responding to God's seeking love, we endeavor to create a vital Christian community in Atlee by committing ourselves to God, serving Christ in the people of Atlee, sharing the story of God's love shown in Jesus Christ, and living out the meaning of that story in our worshipping, serving, and relating to one another.
