Expect truth. Expect community. Expect to be challenged.
Expect to be changed. Expect action. Expect acceptance.
Expect an encounter with a living, loving God.
Everyone at All Souls is gathered from various walks of life, and each of us is on a spiritual quest to know and experience the good, the true, and the beautiful. Some of us are fervently committed. Some of us are cautiously curious. Still, others of us are somewhat skeptical. Wherever you are on the journey, we hope that you feel welcomed and at home in our church. Perhaps you have never been to church (or have only been a handful of times) and fear that you will not know what to do, how to act, or what to say. Be assured: this church is for people just like you. It is our commitment to walk you through each and every step of the worship service so that you will not feel like an outsider. People will greet you warmly at the door. From there you can expect some music, some prayer, and some teaching from the Scriptures. Additionally, you will learn more about our church and where you might best fit in. You should always feel the freedom to participate actively in our worship or to just listen and observe at your discretion.
How do I get to the Sunday service?
Parking is just outside the front entrance of
Hanover High School. All Souls meets in a gym for the service. The gym is within eyesight of the entrance and easy to find. However, there are plenty of friendly faces to help you with any questions you may have.
What's the service like?
The service is outlined in a handout that each person gets. There is a mix of older and modern music with mostly organ type music but we have a guitar every once in a while. It starts at 9:30am and ends at 10:45am. People dress in anything from shorts to suits -- it's no big deal how anyone is dressed.
Is there anything to do after the service?
After the service, there is a chance to talk with the other folks over coffee and snacks. At 11:00am, there are opportunities to go into various Sunday study groups.
Nursery, Children's Chapel, and post service classes
There are at least two adults volunteers in the nursery at all times. There is a mix of play and learning during the service.
There are also programs for the kids during the kids. Those younger than two years of age can go to the nursery during the service. Just ask anyone where it is and you will be helped.
For those who are from 2 to 7 years of age, there is Children's Chapel during the service. However, we are a kid friendly group and children are more than welcome at the service.
For those who are older than 7, we encourage them to come to the general worship.
After the service, there are classes for the younger children up through elementary school age. The youth, middle school and high school age, usually meet during the week. Please feel free to contact
Boo Elmore if you have any questions.

There are several opportunities available directly after the service. Many opportunities exist on days other than Sundays. These include bible studies, book clubs, spiritual formation groups, post-Sunday service classes, discussion groups, video sessions, and movie nights.
These activities occur throughout the week as well as on Sundays.
There are too many things to list here. You are always free to start up a new group provided you can generate enough interest. Click on the 'Read More' link below for details.
