Wednesday Evening Prayer Group

There is a prayer group that meets on most Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm at the Joyner's house. Please see the midweek or call the Joyners to determine if they are meeting on a particular Wednesday. All are more than welcome.

Make Advent Wreaths With Us

This Sunday, during the 11 AM formation hour, we will observe our tradition of making Advent Wreaths.

The church will have supplies available and you will be asked to donate $5 to pay for the wire, foundation ring, and candles.

This is our second year. We had a great time last year. The service was featured in the Richmond Times Dispatch last year.

This is an intergenerational family activity. You can take your wreath home and light it during the Advent season. All are welcome.





Habitat For Humanity

Fri & Sat, December 3 & 4


All Souls Episcopal Church in Mechanicsville 23116

All Souls is helping to build two low-income houses in Ashland as a part of the Habitat for Humanity effort.

The only capability required is to have a strong back and the ability to hit a nail. The work times are from 8:30am to 12 Noon on the 4th and 5th of December.

Christmas Parade

Sunday, December 6 at 2pm


Be sure to be at Boo and Warren's house by 2:00pm. The parade starts at 3:00pm but you will need to be at the house before the road closes.

Food, drinks, and warmth will be provided 7387 Atlee Road Mechanicsville, VA 23111. Please bring a lawn chair or blankets. Please RSVP Boo or Warren.

This year Warren and Boo will be collecting supplies for “Richmond Friends of the Homeless.” You are welcome to bring donations of socks, scarves, hats, new men’s or women’s undergarments and toiletry supplies. All donations will be delivered before Christmas.

Also, John and Michelle Stanley invite you to their home, which is on the parade route, if you have difficulty reaching Boo’s and Warren’s. They live at 8145 Hillis Way, directly across from the T intersection of Hillis and Moritz. You can park on Moritz.
