Blessing of the Animals Service
On October 4, we had a Blessing of the Animals service on both the Land and at Petsmart on Brook Rd next to Circuit City.
Thanks to Fr. Roger Robillard for being at the service on the Land. It was our very first one on the Land. Rev David Perkins served at Petsmart. Please look below for pictures on how it went.
The Blessing of the Animals has been a practice in the church for centuries. It harkens back to St. Francis of Assisi who was said to have an uncanny report with animals.
